Swimming lessons begin

Boys love dirt

So last weekend we all went to Hurricane Utah to see K1's bike race. The kids were very excited and cheered him on to a second place finish in his division. The weather was warm with a little breeze and there was alot of dirt to play in. S and K2 ran around and played with other kids, but J was happy to sit and play in the dirt. I had to but my feelings of a dirty child aside and let him have fun. He ran it through his fingers and tossed it in the air. He laid in it and just enjoyed the whole dirt experience. Overall it was a great trip.

It is finally sinking in

So after having to drag S out of bed every morning and get her ready for school, she is finally doing it herself. All week she has gotten up on her own, gotten dressed and even made her bed. When asked one morning if she made her bed she said yes and I can show you. I went to go to her room and she brought me the camera and showed me the pictures she had taken of her clean room. While I don't like her using the camera, I was proud of her for doing such a good. I can only hope we won't loose track over the summer.
